    Overview of Mill Levies

    Permissive Mill Levies Information

Senate Bill 307 passed into law in the 2017 legislative session requires districts to publish permissive mills and any potential changes in the mills.  The provided information below was published in the local paper, in February.   Permissive mill levies are those authorized by Montana Statute that do not require voter authorization.

Conrad School District Trustees have had the ability for two years now to tax local voters for maintenance and repairs BUT have voted instead to ask the voters to support building reserve levies through voted mill levies.
