2nd Grade has been learning all about plants and animals and how they help each other in nature. To wrap up the unit, representatives from Fish, Wildlife & Parks visited the classroom to share about the animals that live in our region. 🦌🦅 They talked about bears and the different foods they eat throughout the year. Students even got a close-up look at animal pelts and examined bear scat to discover what bears have been munching on! 🐻

Due to the weather conditions expected this evening, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s Prom. The safety of our students, families, and staff is always our top priority, and out of an abundance of caution we believe this is the responsible choice.
We know how much our students have been looking forward to this special night, and we share in the disappointment of having to delay it. Please know that we are already working to identify a new date so that our students can still enjoy the celebration they deserve.
A rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and support. Stay safe, everyone.

A huge thank you to Bandow Farm Co. for their generous donation of 357 pounds of burger to our Conrad Public Schools Food Service Program! Through the Montana Beef and Pork in Schools Program, this incredible contribution will help provide beef for approximately 1,964 student meals. We are grateful for the support of local producers who help keep our students well-fed while also supporting Montana agriculture. Thank you, Bandow Farm Co., for investing in our students and our community! 🐄

MARCH STUDENT OF THE MONTH:
Noah Walter is witty and fun to be around. At the same time he is a quiet leader whose presence makes a meaningful difference in the school community.
Noah excels academically and demonstrates unwavering dedication to his studies. He is not one to sit back; instead, he pushes himself to meet and exceed expectations. Noah consistently puts in the effort required to succeed and refuses to be outdone by his peers. His knowledge and work ethic match perfectly, setting a standard for himself and others on what a student at CHS should strive to be. His commitment to academic excellence is evident in both his performance and his mindset.
Noah observes others thoughtfully and encourages them to make better behavioral choices. Though he tends to keep to himself, Noah is always willing to pitch in and help without being asked. He is a deeply respectable young man who makes the school better simply by being part of it. His character and work ethic serve as an example to those around him.
Noah is reliable in his work, thoughtful in his actions, and humble in his words—the strong, silent type that the world needs more of.
He is a remarkable student, athlete, and human being. His ability to balance humor with humility, combined with his consistent dedication, makes him someone who will undoubtedly continue to provide his gifts to the world. Congratulations, Noah—your next chapter is sure to be filled with opportunity and adventure.

Clara has been a delight to have in class and to work with in all of her various activities including, but not limited to, FFA. As a dedicated member of FFA, Clara has pursued excellence in every venue. VoAg teacher Mr McClayland had this to say about Clara, “ Clara has been nothing but an asset since she came to my program, she has brought this entire program to where we are today. She comes to school everyday with a hardworking and excellent demeanor that brings others up around her. ” As a member of the Class of 2026, Clara has impacted the school and community in a number of ways. Mrs. Pollard, “Clara is an exceptional student and critical thinker. She always tries her best, and has a positive attitude. She is someone her peers and teachers can look as a leader. She asks great questions, thoughtfully considers ideas - bonus - is incredibly fun to be around.” Math teacher Mr Anderson adds, “Clara has been a bright spot at CHS since coming here last year. I appreciate her desire to learn and her willingness to work. She seems to have a smile on her face every day.” Clara continues to impress her teachers and her peers with her dedication, hard work and friendly disposition. She earned the respect of the staff as a dependable and reliable person. Mr. Sekarek, “Clara is a new member of the Conrad crew, but she has wasted no time establishing herself as an invaluable member of the team. Her work ethic is unrivaled and her positive energy is contagious. She is not afraid to explore new territory, and her growth mindset will continue to lead her down a path of adventure and happiness. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her, and I have absolutely no doubt that she will positively impact a sea of people in her future.” As a mentor to her peers, she has shown nothing but kindness to everyone, including younger students, offering a helping hand whenever it is needed. Ms. Buswell, “ Clara is a delight. She's one of the most pleasant and personable students in a class full of standouts - her attitude and perseverance are unmatched. She's willing to help with whatever she's asked for, taking time out of her day to assist students and staff with whatever they need.
