Conrad Public Schools

Last Friday our FCCLA chapter took some time to clean up the garden bed in front of our high school. They removed old growth, gave the trees a trim and washed the sidewalk. This project was originally a student undertaking by past students and continues to be student lead. We appreciate the help keeping our school looking great.

Congratulations to our Girls Golf team on a great season! Every member started the year as a first-time golfer, and the improvement they showed throughout the season was incredible. We are so proud of their hard work, growth, and determination. Great job, girls!

Second grade enjoyed a fun and educational field trip today to Giant Springs State Park and the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. Students toured the fish hatchery and explored the park while connecting what they learned to our classroom units on citizenship, plants, and animals. We also had the opportunity to visit the interpretive center, where students learned more about the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Tegan Jones has signed his letter of intent to play linebacker for Brown University football team. He is undecided on his major but choosing between pre-med or economics. We are all proud of you Tegan!

Good luck to our Conrad Cowgirls Golf team in Wolf Point today. They have nicer weather today than the boys did yesterday. Good Luck Girls!

Breaking News: Divisional Golf Update The boys portion of the tournament concluded this afternoon. Conrad Boy are Divisional Champions. Individually placing: Bentley Hofstad 1st Reece Taylor 3rd Blaine Van Dyke 17th Carsen Sullivan and Brayden Olson also contributed to the team performance. The team will play next week in Billings at the state tournament. Good luck to the girls tomorrow on their tournament.

Congratulations to Trapper Kinamon on breaking the Conrad school record in the discus with a personal best throw of 149’!

The previous record of 145’2” had stood since 1994 and was held by Chad Richards. Trapper’s incredible performance now places his name in the Conrad record books!

The previous record of 11’9” was set by Breauna in 2023. On April 14th at the Lewistown Invitational, Ava cleared 12’0” to set the new school record! 🔥

• 1st Place – 400M in 49.24, breaking his own school record and setting a new Top 8 Meet record! The previous meet record of 50.8 was held by former Conrad Cowboy Ben Zaino since 1993.

🏃 Dylan Hjelm continued his strong season:
• 4th Place – 1600M in 4:42.17
• 6th Place – 800M in 2:15.9
