❤️🏐 It was Senior Night for our Cowgirl volleyball teams as they took on Fairfield! Although our girls fell short, the final result doesn’t tell the whole story. Each set was close, and our girls fought hard, never gave up, and left it all on the court. That heart and determination make this a team we love to watch! Thank you to our seniors for your dedication and leadership. We’re proud of you, Cowgirls! 🤍

A huge THANK YOU to our local Conrad Volunteer Fire Department! Our Meadowlark students walked over to the fire hall today for a special fire safety lesson, and even in the rain, they had an absolute blast! We're grateful for our local heroes who keep us safe and inspire our kids.
Our Cowboy football season wrapped up last night in Fairfield. We entered this season knowing it would be one of growth, rebuilding, and adjusting to a new coaching staff. But what the wins and losses don't show is the incredible heart, determination, and character of these young men and their coaches.
Recently, the boys were asked to describe their team in ONE word. The most common answers?

❤️ RESILIENT.
And that says more about this team than any scoreboard ever could.

Our second graders recently wrapped up their teamwork unit with an afternoon full of fun! To celebrate, we invited members of our high school volleyball, football, and cross country teams to join us for some exciting relay games. Our student-athletes also shared how teamwork plays an important role in their sports and why working together is so important.
It was a great afternoon of laughter, learning, and teamwork! A big thank you to our student-athletes for being such wonderful role models for our younger students!

Yesterday ML students were able to learn about becoming an author and illustrator from Montana author Lorrie Grosfield. She returned to read the students her newest book "High-Tail Falls". She explained how to use chalk for illustrations and the process of a rough draft. Her biggest message of the day was "Don't let anyone throw away your dreams".
