Gourdy spent the morning in Mrs. Vandyke's 5th grade classroom at Utterback School. Gourdy was able to work on his math skills, help students with their reading passages, check out the awesome book selections in the library, participate in band, and get a clean bill of health from the school Health Clinic

Students, Staff, and Community members can bring in coins to their teams bucket and the losing teams teachers and students will receive a pie in the face. However, the REAL winner is the Pondera County Food Bank who will receive all of the money raised!

CCEF awarded the following One Classroom at a Time grant requests for the month of October:
✏️Helen Bingaman, 7-8 ELA, was awarded $390.94 for materials for her classroom reading nook.
✏️Danele Dyer, Utterback School Principal, was awarded $1,890.04 for positive behavior rewards, including the trimester movie parties and a holiday movie, at the Orpheum Theatre.
This program is first-rate and directly impacts teachers and students. We'd like to give a huge thank you to the Conrad Community Education Foundation along with our local businesses who continue to sponsor this program!

The Cowboys ended their season with a hard fought loss to Missoula Loyola Rams 12-21.
Even though the game didn't have the outcome we wanted, the boys played with their hearts and left it all out on the field.

Former Conrad native, Lorrie Grosfield, read her children's book "Hallie the Hero" to Meadowlark students today. Lorrie talked to students about her message of resilience along with the process of becoming an author and publishing a book.
