🏃‍♂️🎉 Governor's Cup Kids Marathon Success! 🎉🏃‍♀️ Yesterday, 70 of our amazing K-3 students proudly completed their “Final Mile” as part of the Montana Governor's Cup Kids Marathon in Helena—a non-competitive, 1-mile fun run that celebrates effort, not speed. All of our students finished the race in under 18 minutes! 🏅👏 The highlight of the day? The incredible show of support from our school community! Non-participating students and staff lined the course, cheering loudly for every runner. And in a heartwarming moment, our 6th grade class formed a tunnel for the final runner to sprint through as they crossed the finish line! A huge thank you to Mr. Jeremie LaBarre, our awesome PE teacher, for organizing this event, and to the dedicated parent and staff volunteers who led recess practice runs throughout the six-week program. We’re so proud of our students—not just for running, but for showing what true teamwork and encouragement look like. 💙
