Ms. Brierly's class received the Reading Challenge Champ (GOAT) trophy for being the class with 100% participation with all of the students meeting 100% of their goals. Hopefully another class doesn't take it from them next trimester!

Dear Families,

As the holidays approach, I invite you to think about a different kind of gift. With such a successful turnout for our 2026 trip to Italy and Spain, I am thrilled to announce that we are heading to France in 2027!

It is my greatest hope that your student can study with us in this unforgettable destination. We are so fortunate to call Conrad home, but as an avid traveler, I also recognize the importance of engagement with the outside world. Travel is so much more than vacation. It is an opportunity to invest in yourself! Students will explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain lifelong skills that separate them from the rest of the crowd. I’ll share all the details at our upcoming meeting including what we’ll see and do, hands-on learning activities, academic opportunities, trip costs, and how to secure a spot. I know it is a big jump, but PLEASE DON'T COUNT YOURSELF OUT! We will not be offering another international opportunity until 2029, so take advantage.

Meeting details:
📅 Date: December 9
🕒 Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Location: CHS Library
👉 RSVP here to join us: https://rsvp.eftours.com/yny2abz

We will also be opening enrollment during the meeting and you will get the best deal if you sign up quickly! Attendance is not mandatory, but it is highly encouraged and will allow me to present a clearer image of what we are about.

Although I will be as thorough as possible during the upcoming meeting, feel free to visit EF’s website to get answers to common parent questions. Overall, EF Tours has been fantastic to work with while planning our trip to Italy and Spain this summer. I have full confidence in them thus far, and that is the main reason I am sticking with EF again for this trip to France.

I hope you are as excited as I am, and I look forward to seeing you at the meeting. Merci! (Thank you!)

Warmest holiday wishes,
Mr. Sekerak

🏈 Brawl of the Wild Coin War Results at Utterback School! 🏈 The friendly rivalry was in full swing this week as students battled it out in our Brawl of the Wild Coin War — and the Griz took the win by $20.72! F ormer Bobcat, Lee Perkins bravely stepped up and took the pie for the losing Bobcats! BUT… when it came to the actual Brawl of the Wild game, the Bobcats claimed victory on the field, which meant former Griz, Mr. Raymond DeBruycker and Brandon Utterback paid the price and got pied! 🥧 🎉 Pie targets chosen by Student Council: Duke Ashlyn Shance (random student draw) 🥧 And the pie throwers? Also randomly drawn from those who donated! Thank you to all our students and staff for making this such a fun (and slightly messy) event. Rivalry, laughter, and school spirit at its finest! Go Griz! Go Cats! 💙💛💜🐻🐾
