Here are the school year calendars that will be considered for approval at the regular school board meeting on February 13th. The notable difference is the Option #2 calendars have a week later start, finish, and graduation date. All activity/athletic start end days and school breaks do not change between options. Below are points to review when comparing the two options:
2024 - 2025
Option 1:
Starts school the 21st of August
Last day of School is May 30th
Graduation date of May 25th (Memorial Day weekend)
Option 2:
Starts school a week later than option one with a start date of August 28th
Last day of school is June 6th
Graduation moves from May 25th (Memorial Day weekend) to May 31st or June 1st
2025-2026
Option 1:
Starts school the 20th of August
Last day of School is May 29th
Graduation date of May 24th (Memorial Day weekend)
Option 2:
Starts school a week later than option one with a start date of August 27th
Last day of school is June 5th
Graduation moves from May 24th (Memorial Day weekend) to May 30th or 31st
