2nd Grade has been learning all about plants and animals and how they help each other in nature. To wrap up the unit, representatives from Fish, Wildlife & Parks visited the classroom to share about the animals that live in our region. 🦌🦅 They talked about bears and the different foods they eat throughout the year. Students even got a close-up look at animal pelts and examined bear scat to discover what bears have been munching on! 🐻

Due to the weather conditions expected this evening, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s Prom. The safety of our students, families, and staff is always our top priority, and out of an abundance of caution we believe this is the responsible choice.
We know how much our students have been looking forward to this special night, and we share in the disappointment of having to delay it. Please know that we are already working to identify a new date so that our students can still enjoy the celebration they deserve.
A rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and support. Stay safe, everyone.

A huge thank you to Bandow Farm Co. for their generous donation of 357 pounds of burger to our Conrad Public Schools Food Service Program! Through the Montana Beef and Pork in Schools Program, this incredible contribution will help provide beef for approximately 1,964 student meals. We are grateful for the support of local producers who help keep our students well-fed while also supporting Montana agriculture. Thank you, Bandow Farm Co., for investing in our students and our community! 🐄

MARCH STUDENT OF THE MONTH:
Noah Walter is witty and fun to be around. At the same time he is a quiet leader whose presence makes a meaningful difference in the school community.
Noah excels academically and demonstrates unwavering dedication to his studies. He is not one to sit back; instead, he pushes himself to meet and exceed expectations. Noah consistently puts in the effort required to succeed and refuses to be outdone by his peers. His knowledge and work ethic match perfectly, setting a standard for himself and others on what a student at CHS should strive to be. His commitment to academic excellence is evident in both his performance and his mindset.
Noah observes others thoughtfully and encourages them to make better behavioral choices. Though he tends to keep to himself, Noah is always willing to pitch in and help without being asked. He is a deeply respectable young man who makes the school better simply by being part of it. His character and work ethic serve as an example to those around him.
Noah is reliable in his work, thoughtful in his actions, and humble in his words—the strong, silent type that the world needs more of.
He is a remarkable student, athlete, and human being. His ability to balance humor with humility, combined with his consistent dedication, makes him someone who will undoubtedly continue to provide his gifts to the world. Congratulations, Noah—your next chapter is sure to be filled with opportunity and adventure.
