For February Conrad High School is pleased to announce its Student of the Month; Clara Blonde. Clara is currently a senior at Conrad High School and is the daughter of Myra and Gary Blonde. Clara has been a delight to have in class and to work with in all of her various activities including, but not limited to, FFA. As a dedicated member of FFA, Clara has pursued excellence in every venue. VoAg teacher Mr McClayland had this to say about Clara, “ Clara has been nothing but an asset since she came to my program, she has brought this entire program to where we are today. She comes to school everyday with a hardworking and excellent demeanor that brings others up around her. ” As a member of the Class of 2026, Clara has impacted the school and community in a number of ways. Mrs. Pollard, “Clara is an exceptional student and critical thinker. She always tries her best, and has a positive attitude. She is someone her peers and teachers can look as a leader. She asks great questions, thoughtfully considers ideas - bonus - is incredibly fun to be around.” Math teacher Mr Anderson adds, “Clara has been a bright spot at CHS since coming here last year. I appreciate her desire to learn and her willingness to work. She seems to have a smile on her face every day.” Clara continues to impress her teachers and her peers with her dedication, hard work and friendly disposition. She earned the respect of the staff as a dependable and reliable person. Mr. Sekarek, “Clara is a new member of the Conrad crew, but she has wasted no time establishing herself as an invaluable member of the team. Her work ethic is unrivaled and her positive energy is contagious. She is not afraid to explore new territory, and her growth mindset will continue to lead her down a path of adventure and happiness. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her, and I have absolutely no doubt that she will positively impact a sea of people in her future.” As a mentor to her peers, she has shown nothing but kindness to everyone, including younger students, offering a helping hand whenever it is needed. Ms. Buswell, “ Clara is a delight. She's one of the most pleasant and personable students in a class full of standouts - her attitude and perseverance are unmatched. She's willing to help with whatever she's asked for, taking time out of her day to assist students and staff with whatever they need. Aside from her outstanding academics, she's unfailingly kind and a great role model for other students. Congratulations, Clara! Congratulations Clara on all of your accomplishments and we wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors.
